Shree Bhavani Extrusion specializes in manufacturing high-grade Continuous Casting (CC) Rods, engineered to meet stringent global standards. Utilizing state-of-the-art upward/horizontal continuous casting technology, our rods exhibit exceptional structural homogeneity, zero porosity, and uniform grain structure. Available in a versatile range of non-ferrous metals and customized alloys (including Brass, Copper, and Bronze), these rods offer superior electrical conductivity, excellent machinability, and high tensile strength. They serve as the ideal raw material for high-precision CNC machining, forging, and electrical component manufacturing.
Because the molten brass solidifies continuously in a water-cooled graphite die, the metal cools at a highly regular, accelerated rate. This results in an incredibly uniform, fine-grained micro-structure from the core to the outer skin, ensuring predictable physical properties across the entire length of the rod.
Unlike traditional static mold casting—which often traps air, creates shrinkage cavities, or allows non-metallic impurities to settle—continuous casting forces a steady, pressurized flow of liquid metal downward or outward. This hydrostatic pressure displaces gases and pushes impurities to the surface pool, leaving behind a completely solid, high-density rod with zero internal porosity.
The continuous, automated nature of the furnace-to-die feeding system allows for tight temperature regulation and minimal atmospheric exposure. This prevents zinc burnout (loss of chemical composition balance) and keeps the alloy's distribution completely uniform, preventing hard spots or soft pockets that disrupt automated machining.
The rods exit the specialized graphite forming dies with exceptionally smooth surface boundaries, minimal oxidation scale, and precise cross-sectional profiles. For downstream manufacturing, this translates directly to less surface pre-processing, lower peeling or milling losses, and significantly minimized scrap rates.
